About Ryan Trunkett

I am a student athlete at Lewis & Clark College and I am studying Economics and Entrepreneurship. I am currently a senior and I have been the captain of the Men\'s Basketball Team at Lewis & Clark for two years now. As well as being a leader on my team, I am a representative for our Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), where I advocate for the interests and well-being of student athletes on campus. Academically, I have a strong interest in Business and Finance. As an Economics major and Entrepreneurship minor, I have made the Dean\'s List for each of my first 3 years at college by maintaining a 3.7 GPA. Through balancing athletics, academics, and work, I have developed a skill set which includes leadership, a strong work ethic, discipline, teamwork, time management, and communication. I am always looking for opportunities to learn new skills, network with professionals, and pursue my passions.

   Ohana Inns

   Feb 2025 — Present

   I am working to make the Ohana Inns properties more sustainable by-Doing sustainability research across energy efficiency, water usage, waste management, and material sourcing-Communicating with property managers by suggesting new ways to improve our efficiency and guest experience within our hotels-Reaching out and scheduling consultations with energy audit/insulation companies to come take a look at our properties-Implementing ideas such as water saving techniques, new heating systems, and composting systems into our hotels.
