About Ryan Tobin

I am currently a Software Engineer at Meta. I have received a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a machine learning specialization with a GPA of 4.0. I have also received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a GPA of 4.0. In addition to studying at Georgia Tech, I am a technology entrepreneur having expertise in Java, Swift, Python, and SQL.I worked as a software engineer intern at NCR Corporation for 2 years, worked as a software engineer intern at Microsoft, worked as a Software Engineer intern at Meta (Facebook), co-founded The Study Solution, a software application used to facilitate educational learning, and co-founded Bitmuv, a software company that uses crowdsourcing to provide on-demand moving services to people in the community.In addition to my academic and entrepreneurial interests, I have played competitive sports for many years including hockey and baseball. Furthermore, I have taken means to develop my leadership skills. I previously served as the head of recruitment and the president of the Beta Pi chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon. I was also the head teaching assistant for Database Systems (CS 4400) at Georgia Tech.
