About Ryan Tichenor

Ryan Tichenor currently serves as the Senior Tax Counsel for Textron. His duties include advising on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, the development and management of tax planning projects, review and analysis of new legislation and administrative guidance (U.S. & Non-U.S.), and coordination with and support of Textron\'s Tax Reporting, Compliance and Audit functions.Ryan started his career in PwC\'s St. Louis office where he gained experience in federal and state taxation before focusing on international tax and cross-border M&A. After four years in St. Louis, Ryan joined PwC\'s Washington National Tax Services (WNTS) office on a two year tour of duty. At WNTS, Ryan was responsible for assisting clients from across the U.S. with a wide variety of tax issues as well as advising on U.S. legislative and regulatory matters.Immediately prior to joining Textron, Ryan served as the Director of Tax Planning for Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals where he used his experience to lead the tax planning function and help coordinate business initiatives to ensure positive tax results.Ryan received his undergraduate degree in finance, with a minor in economics, from Truman State University in 2006, and his J.D. from the University of Missouri in 2009. He is a currently licensed to practice in the state of Missouri.
