ABOUT RYAN STANIKK

Southampton-based creative professional with 20 years of commercial experience with graphic design, photography, social media management and marketing. I have a strong natural eye for balance and composition, and work to stay on top of emerging trends and styles. I believe my greatest strengths to be my versatility — in terms of the varying styles and briefs I‘m able to work to, and the speed at which I‘m able to turn these jobs around at high quality.As well as my design and photography background, I am passionate about all areas of marketing and communications, with a particular interest and skilled background in social media and innovative communications. I\'ve very successfully managed social media for numerous groups and companies throughout the last few years.I am also an experienced musician, with a long history of playing in live bands, orchestras, jazz bands, brass bands and more all over the World. My first instrument is trombone, although I also sing and can play guitar and bass too. I have been involved in organising and promoting events through my live music experience and have also been involved in tour booking.As of September 2014, I launched a national club night brand called \'District\', specialising in alternative music and culture. Through this, I not only made use of my experience with design, social media, music, and event management, but also taught myself how to DJ to a good level. This club brand grew so quickly that we expanded to 15 other cities across the country.
