About Ryan S.
Currently a Senior Analytics Engineer for CompanyCam.Previously served as a Data Engineer for Headset. My responsibilities included cleaning and transforming data sets to prepare them for analysis and ingestion by Looker. Utilizing dbt to maintain the data warehouse and assisted in the optimization of complex queries. Organizing data projects using version control, testing, and continuous integration as well as consistently documenting and communicating those changes to stakeholders. I also monitored the ETL pipelines to generate alerts regarding data quality issues. All while also supporting the operations business via Headset\'s bug triage process.Prior to that, I worked for 2 years at TD Ameritrade where I completed their Emerging Talent Program as a Data Analyst in December 2020. This program allowed me to develop my skills in a variety of business roles before landing on a team permanently in which I was promoted to a Data Analyst II.In May of 2019, I graduated with a B.S.B.A.(Cum Laude) from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. My degree was concentrated in 2 areas; Business Intelligence & Analytics and Marketing.I have professional experience in SQL, dbt, Looker, and Snowflake. In my academic courses, I utilized JavaScript, R Studio, SAS, and PHP as well.
