Oversee and coordinate the projects, activities and initiatives of Curriculum Team Leaders (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12). Supervise, plan, and facilitate quarterly vertical alignment meetings to discuss curriculum, textbooks, assessments,initiatives, and other relevant departmental topics Coordinate, plan and facilitate two events or presentations to engage families in academic, curriculum, assessment, orother related topics Plan and facilitate bi-monthly meetings to plan curriculum team meetings, discuss progress on key initiatives, andaddress departmental issues Attend bi-monthly full day curriculum team meetings Attend School Committee meetings, as needed, to present new initiatives, report progress, or discuss other relevantinformation Oversee curriculum development within the discipline to ensure adequate lesson planning and budget preparation Meet with the school and district leadership team to coordinate K-12 curriculum, instruction, and assessment Participate in the establishment of agendas, content of contractual meetings and in-service days, and disseminateinformation within the school in collaboration with the school and district leadership team and other CurriculumTeam Leaders Work to obtain horizontal and vertical alignment with other Curriculum Team Leaders Maintain inventory of supplies and books Work with district leadership team on budget and purchase orders Organize, disseminate, and generate reports on state and local assessments which could include analyzing, evaluating,and scanning information Collaborate with district leadership team to create action plans based on assessment analysis and present informationto department or school Facilitate professional development workshops during scheduled in-service daysPlease apply in writing to the Assistant Superintendent
