About Ryan Nguyen
I am a fourth-year at the University of Washington studying Informatics with a focus on Software Development. I enjoy learning new concepts, technologies, and tools that I apply to projects that I build and other valuable experiences. One of my more memorable experience would definitely be my time as a Developer for Wordplaypen (A new playful programming language focused on eliminating language barriers in coding!) which has shown me the complexity of learning an already built project with new frameworks and languages I am unfamiliar with and adapting/learning from peers and senior developers as I work to implement new features for the project. I have encountered many obstacles, but my passion for learning and making a significant impact with my contributions has allowed me to push through and be proactive in seeking advice from others and starting and planning out my own tasks.
