About Ryann Phillips

I am a Junior at the University of Washington where I am pursuing a major in Finance along with a minor in Real Estate. As an enthusiastic learner, I am passionate about my education and growing my knowledge in financial analysis. I have been able to grow these analysis skills not only through my course work but also through internship opportunities. These learning experiences have taught me the importance of financial analysis in every business and how financial services can help individuals, businesses, and the community. I am also passionate about being impactful in the community around me. I have interned with a non-profit which provided healthcare to rural areas in Cambodia and currently intern with a leadership development program at UW which hosts speaker events for students. Through these opportunities I have been able to make a difference in the lives around me. This has further instilled a drive to help others through my career. Additionally, I have experience as a research assistant and office assistant where I have gained vital communication and organizational skills applicable to any position. I am eager to gain more experience in the financial world and would love to connect!

   Developed a new budget for over aircraft material parts and assisted in other department budgets- Create variance slide decks which highlight key drivers of budget to actual performance and operational trends- Assist in monthly close process by analyzing variances and preparing journal entry support
