About Ryan McDaniel

I’m a Senior at Indiana University Bloomington, working toward a Bachelor of Science in Informatics with a Minor in Criminal Justice. My background blends technical skills like data analysis and programming with a solid understanding of criminal justice, giving me a unique perspective on modern challenges in law enforcement. This past summer, I earned my Indiana Law Enforcement Certification and now serve as a Part-Time Police Officer with the Indiana University Police Department. In this role, I focus on campus safety through patrol work, traffic management, and community engagement. I’m passionate about building strong connections within the community while upholding a high standard of public safety. I’m also certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED, and I’m always looking for opportunities to grow and lead in this field. My ultimate goal is to become a Criminal Investigator within the federal government. I’m driven by a desire to serve and protect, and I’m particularly excited to combine my technical expertise with my passion for justice to tackle both traditional and digital investigations. I’m committed to making a meaningful impact in public service and law enforcement, bringing a forward-thinking, problem-solving mindset to every challenge I take on.
