I currently serve as the Congressional Affairs Director for the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), helping develop, advocate for, and advance federal emergency medicine legislative priorities on Capitol Hill. In my time with the College, I\'ve helped secure EM priorities into law, including efforts to address the opioid and substance use disorder crisis, programs to promote and improve physician and health care worker well-being, and establish critical protections that remove patients from billing disputes between providers and insurers and provide a fair, independent dispute resolution process to resolve those challenges.Prior to ACEP, I served as Government Relations Associate for the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), advocating for policies to promote the profession of osteopathic medicine with Members of Congress.I have 7+ years of experience working for Congress in both district and Washington, D.C. offices for members of both the House and Senate, serving the constituents of Nevada and its 3rd Congressional District in particular.I am a 2010 Graduate of the Pepperdine School of Public Policy, Master of Public Policy, dual-specialization in state & local affairs and American politics and 2008 Graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
