His second book, “Unsettled: How the Purdue Pharma Bankruptcy Failed the Victims of the American Overdose Crisis,” was released in September 2021 and chronicled his behind-the-scenes efforts representing victims in the Purdue Pharma opioid litigation. Ryan’s third book, “Fentanyl Nation,” was released in September 2024.In 2019, Ryan was named by Facebook as an inaugural community leadership fellow and created the national not-for-profit, Mobilize Recovery. Since its inception, Mobilize Recovery has recruited and trained over new advocates from all 50 states focused on community-based solutions to end the addiction and overdose crisis.
