I am a Diplomatic Security Service Special Agent assigned as an Assistant Regional Security Officer at a U.S. Embassy in the Near Eastern Affairs Regional Bureau. I was previously assigned to the Houston Field Office where I supported protective operations required of the U.S. Department of State and investigated passport and visa fraud.I have law enforcement experience in the federal government and the State of Colorado. I began my career as a Department of Justice Analyst working in the INTERPOL Washington Command Center at the U.S. National Central Bureau. I covered a wide range of criminal investigations and national security interests. The experience gave me the unique opportunity to represent the U.S. in an official capacity at INTERPOL headquarters in Lyon, France. I left the federal government and brought my experience to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. I became an integral member of a specialized unit that focused on fraud and developed the criminal and operational intelligence capabilities of a newly established black market marijuana team. In addition to those duties, I was the INTERPOL Liaison for the State of Colorado for 6 years and extended collaborative efforts with the global law enforcement community.
