About Ryan Hall

A rural upbringing in Southern Illinois taught me to value family and service. Inspired to help others, I pursued a career in Air Force special operations as a Pararescueman. The process taught me self-discipline, teamwork, accountability, and critical thinking under pressure. Anticipating the need to create value in the private sector following my military service, I completed an MBA program and became PMP certified. My earliest years were spent in an agrarian pre-Internet community that valued honesty and hard work. Our closest neighbors were roughly two miles away enabling me to explore nature in a way very few can in modern times. My grandfather was a dairy farmer who milked by hand while my grandmother sold eggs. They would plant a massive garden shared by the entire extended family. My aunts, uncles, and cousins would frequently all come together to weed and harvest a wide variety (being very mindful of the electric fence). This country life was contrasted by the entrepreneurial efforts of my parents who started a variety store in the nearby small town. In addition to selling furniture, customers could rent the latest state-of-the-art technology…the VCR. My parents built a gas station in a neighboring town as I grew to middle school. This added a new level of fascination with business and creating value. Through high school, I developed a tremendous drive to build myself to the highest level and help others. A strange turn of events introduced me to Air Force special operations. After two years of intense training and hard work, I found myself graduating as a Pararescueman in a class of 6 that began with more than 100. The current chapter is an exciting time. After almost a quarter-century of military service, I transitioned into a dream position of developing community and commerce. I’m passionate about solving complicated problems, creating value, and helping those in need.
