ABOUT RYAN DOBERSTEIN
I’ve always had a passion for finance, strategy, and helping businesses grow. My career has taken me through a variety of roles, each building on the last and shaping how I approach business today. After earning my MBA in 2012 with a focus on International Business and previous BBA in Accounting, I jumped straight into operations—running everything from inventory & financials to global distribution & marketing at a custom jet ski manufacturing company. That hands-on experience in managing an entire business gave me a deep appreciation for what it takes to keep things running smoothly. From there, I moved into accounting and finance, working as a Staff Accountant and then transitioning into investment performance roles at Bank of America (US Trust) and Wells Fargo. Over several years, I audited billions in investment performance dollars, developed compliance processes, and worked closely with investment managers of high-net-worth clients to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment.More recently, I’ve been focused on helping businesses scale efficiently and make smart financial decisions. As a Fractional Assistant Controller and CFO, I’ve worked with companies to improve cash flow, optimize processes, and build long-term financial strategies. I’ve also led real estate investments, managed major renovations, and navigated SBA and conventional financing—all skills that directly translate into guiding businesses through financial and operational challenges. At the end of the day, I love solving complex financial puzzles and helping business owners make informed decisions. If you’re looking for someone with a mix of hands-on operational experience and deep financial expertise, let’s connect.
