My background is rooted in technical problem-solving, root cause analysis (RCA), and technical team leadership. I offer a practical and pragmatic systems engineering perspective with applied experience in the renewable energy industry.My hands-on experience includes working with nearly all wind turbine platforms, solar projects of all scales, and operational energy storage systems. My specialties include structured problem-solving (RCAs), design for operations, installation quality assessment, and optimization of operational projects.My career began in R&D roles in the electric vehicle industry in the early after earning a Manufacturing Engineering degree from Oregon Tech. During my early years, I worked on early fuel cell hydrogen vehicles and lithium-ion-based power systems for automobiles and small-scale renewable energy demonstration projects. I then moved to the utility-scale wind industry as a traveling field engineer in 2005 to gain firsthand knowledge of the industry from the ground up. Throughout my career, I have held various roles, including field technician, site management, technical consultant, OEM warranty management, and engineering department leader.My expertise is grounded in years of field experience, and I am proud to be recognized as a technical expert across the renewable energy industry.
