Utilised Drupal CMS to independently design, create, manage and update a new website for the College\'s external events business as part of a re-brand. Wrote copy and selected imagery- Independently arranged, managed and oversaw corporate parties, events and formal dinners- Formally Represented the College in Summer School graduation ceremonies, including giving presentations about routes to and student life at UoC/MEC- Developed and helped initiate (including conducting a GDPR risk assessment for) a digital guest registration system which complies with the Immigration (Hotel Records) order- Onboarded a new colleague to the role, with the support of the BDM- Managed and arranged a wide range of internal and external events from enquiry to invoice stages, utilising Kx (Kinetic) Conferencing, Residential and Pulse software- Supported the BDM in back-end software processes/amendments using Kx (Kinetic) Configuration and created custom reports using KxPlorer- Self-taught (with support of AI tools) and implemented VisualBasic code in the creation of Excel workbooks and created Power Apps with SharePoint integration- Co-managed social media channels (Instagram/Facebook, LinkedIn). Planned and created content- Managed B&B business. Made and amended bookings. Updated booking portal, setting up private event codes for residential conferences/events (SpeedyBooker platform). Amended and refreshed information on third-party platforms (e.g. Booking.com)- Created and managed departmental and all-staff-facing SharePoint sites with integration of custom Lists and Power Apps. Wrote and published news bulletins weekly- Provided relief (ad hoc) support to the AV Technician by setting up and managing wireless microphones, built-in AV, portable screens and conference cameras- Wrote a comprehensive accessibility guide—and published on website—describing all areas on-site for the information of visitors and staff- Trained staff on Kinetic Software suite of products
