I am a seasoned epidemiologist and published researcher (AIDS & Behavior) with over two decades of dedicated experience in community health, specializing in harm reduction, HCV, HIV/AIDS, PrEP, STIs, and TB. My journey in public health started when serving in the U.S. Navy, providing culturally appropriate preventive medicine care to LGBTQIA+ Servicemembers under the \"Don\'t Ask, Don\'t Tell\" policy, and driven by a passion for making a meaningful impact on public health outcomes. Throughout my career, I\'ve contributed to cutting-edge research, furthering our understanding of critical issues. My commitment to evidence-based practice and harm reduction strategies has been central to my work as I strive to improve the well-being of individuals and communities. I\'m embarking on an exciting new chapter in my career as I aim to transition into the private sector; additionally, I am actively researching Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) programs, with plans to apply within the following year.
