As a Grant Management and Facility Operations Intern at DCAMM, I significantly contributed to the administration of a $90 million program addressing capital needs across Massachusetts Commonwealth Assets. My role encompassed grant management, ensuring effective fund allocation for diverse projects. I supported a statewide association of over 700 facility personnel from Massachusetts\' executive and legislative branches, improving operational efficiency and communication. Key responsibilities included monitoring progress and spending for agency transfers, including higher education campuses, through comprehensive data analysis. I managed contact lists in CAMIS and supported professional development by facilitating participation in MAFMA University\'s certificate programs. Additionally, I was involved in creating and editing key Facility Resources and MAFMA documents and presentations, demonstrating my content development skills. My role in designing and implementing surveys for Facility Resources and MAFMA provided critical insights for improvement. I also coordinated MAFMA meetings and commencements, showcasing event planning skills. This experience enhanced my abilities in grant management, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and project coordination in a high-stakes setting.
