About Ryan Burghart
People often ask me why I study economics instead of finance or accounting. While both have their strengths, the key to making strategic decisions, whether in the business world or in the government, is understanding people. Economics, beyond understanding financial theory and the business cycle, is a way of analyzing the way that people make decisions, and ultimately the incentives behind those decisions. Economics has given me a further insight this phenomenon, and analyzing a problem from an economic perspective combined with some data analysis skill can be used to solve any challenge.I\'ve been ecstatic to be working for 84.51 since coming out of college, which consistently challenges me and encourages growth in all aspects of my career.
