As an Energy and Mineral Program Manager in the Office of Energy Programs, I manage technical assistance programs to build partner governments\' capacity and strengthen governance in the energy and mineral resource sectors- Scoped, designed, and implemented assistance programs to improve recipient countries’ energy and mineral sector investment climate in support of U.S. commercial and national security priorities- Managed over $11 million in U.S. foreign assistance to Greenland, Fiji, Jamaica, Mongolia, Pakistan, and Papua New Guinea, including over $9 million as Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR)- Provided technical direction to contractors and expert implementers across 12 assistance projects- Reviewed and approved technical reports on solar, wind, hydro, and tidal power; battery energy storage; carbon capture and storage; semiconductor supply chains; and mineral resource geology- Negotiated with foreign government and military counterparts to plan logistically complex technical programs, align expectations, obtain high-level political support, and secure cost-share commitments- Represented the U.S. in official speaking capacity at bilateral dialogues and international conferences- Maintained an active Top Secret security clearance
