About Ryan Barner
My passion for finance originally brought me to the CulverHouse college of business at the University of Alabama, where I worked on my Undergraduate in Finance for two years. I then decided it was best for me to head back home to Towson University where I am now completing my degree in Communications with a Business minor. The most valuable lesson I have learned from TU has been the importance of working well in team settings to achieve higher goals. Even though I knew I wanted to work in the financial services industry, I have enjoyed getting to broaden my horizons with my additional communications classes that allowed me to learn how to better build professional relationships. This year I have mastered my problem solving, interpersonal communications, and teamwork skills. I continue to build skills in public speaking as well as writing for clarity and explanation.
