About Ryan Vaz

Ryan is a partner in KPMG’s Northeast Financial Services audit practice with 20 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and auditing. During his career, Ryan has served a variety of clients in the banking and capital markets industry including large global corporate and investment banking institutions, introducing and clearing broker-dealers, futures commission merchants, as well as regional and community banks. During 2014 through 2017, Ryan completed a 3 year rotation at KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice where he dealt with various Capital Markets accounting and auditing matters. Ryan is a member of the AICPA Stockbrokerage and Investment Banking Expert Panel and is also a member of KPMG’s SEC Review and Broker Dealer Review Partner program. Ryan is also a member of the Dean\'s Accounting Advisory Council at the School of Management at the University at Buffalo and a member of the Board of Trustees at the Cathedral School at St. John the Divine.
