As Executive Director of IYT’s Maryland/DC region, I lead the strategic expansion of a nationally recognized college access and completion program focused on increasing the number of young men of color who attend and graduate from college. IYT\'s proven model delivers mentorship, academic support, college exposure, and family engagement to middle and high school students, fostering academic resilience and leadership.In this role, I- Oversee all regional operations, including school site partnerships, staff management, and program implementation- Build and sustain cross-sector partnerships with school districts, universities, funders, and community leaders- Lead fundraising efforts, including grant writing and donor engagement, to secure public and private investments- Direct program growth strategy, ensuring alignment with IYT’s mission and the unique needs of youth in Baltimore and the D.C. metro area- Support a dynamic team of AmeriCorps mentors, ensuring high-impact service delivery and professional developmentMy work is rooted in educational equity, community collaboration, and a deep belief in the brilliance and potential of our young people.
