Generated daily report for the business unit (BU) to show the results of both sales & orders across multiple countries. This report tracks if they are [the BU is] on target to meet forecast on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. • Created reports for multiple BUs for international sales, orders and profit based on bookings, P&L sheet and gross margin. Analyzed and consolidated data using Excel pivot tables and Vlookup formulas. Compared actuals and forecast. • Compiled a quarterly report to show the top ten customers of each BU as measured by net sales. This report also compared the current quarter sales to the same quarter last year. Provided insight on significant sales performance for each top ten customer, as well as the ones that dropped off the list. Presented report to executive management for strategic planning.• Created budget templates for the marketing and engineering cost centers. Prepared monthly report on breakdown of each GL account expense. Held monthly meetings to review spending actuals against forecast. Identified areas where expenses are exceeding or below budget.• Performed monthly price increase analysis for the BUs, comparing the increase on each product quarter-over-quarter, and year-over-year to see if that is reasonable. Also produced monthly savings report on material purchases, considering any cost savings or inflation for each item. Presented analysis to management for price adjustment planning.• Assisted in collecting past due payments from customers, as well as sending friendly reminders to customers who have upcoming due invoices. Consolidated a monthly report of all customers whose past due payments are over a certain threshold amount and days overdue. Recognized by management for achieving the lowest DSO (number of days to receive payment after a sale) in the BU’s history. A low DSO positively impacts the working capital and cash flows of the BU.
