I recently took a lateral move to learn a new business and help get a fresh set of eyes on processes that had not been changed for years. Community Health Clinics (CHC) is a group of Cardinal Health-owned pharmacies within health care facilities which primarily serve low income neighborhoods. My role is to own the Accounting process from end-to-end for the CHC business and work with various business partners to communicate financial results and upcoming accounting impacts. Currently working with our Genpact teams to transition work back to the US and offer recommendations of which business processes can remain with our overseas resources.
