About Ryan Tilus
To educate, advocate, and defend those disenfranchised by the legal system, this is what I’ve striven for throughout my collegiate experience. I am passionate about protecting the rights of the disadvantaged and dedicated to improving legal representation for African-Americans, immigrants, and other marginalized communities.I am driven by morals and principles, and I have not only a distinctive view of our criminal justice system, but a desire to challenge the prejudices found in the system. I do not hope that I will make an impact, but I know that I will make an impact through advocacy and reform while utilizing the study of criminal justice as well. I want to redefine the meaning of criminal defense and how it treats the people it serves.
