I am a higher education professional, senior law enforcement leader, and seasoned military non-commissioned officer with over three decades of leadership experience spanning academia, criminal investigations, and strategic military operations.As a college professor, I create engaging, thought-provoking learning environments that challenge students to think critically about complex issues within the criminal justice system. I am committed to student success and fostering an inclusive, respectful classroom culture built on trust, accountability, and academic rigor.With more than 27 years of experience as a Supervising Criminal Investigator, I have led dynamic, results-oriented teams in conducting complex investigations, including critical use-of-force and death investigations. My professional background includes advanced crime scene oversight, public safety program development, and law enforcement policy and procedure analysis. I bring a strong foundation in Criminal Justice Administration, Public Administration, and Organizational Behavior to every leadership role I serve.Additionally, I have dedicated over 36 years of service to the United States Army and Army Reserve. As a senior military professional holding a Top Secret/SCI clearance, I have extensive experience in strategic operations management, civil-military operations, foreign humanitarian assistance, interagency coordination, and executive-level leadership. My professional military education includes graduation from the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy and the U.S. Army War College Nominative Leaders Course.Across every role, my focus remains the same: build strong teams, develop future leaders, and serve with integrity.
