I’m a passionate educator committed to helping students build confidence, think critically, and discover what they’re capable of—especially in mathematics. I currently serve as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at William Monroe High School, where I create student-centered, relationship-driven learning environments that encourage both academic growth and personal development.My path to the classroom has been shaped by 8+ years of tutoring, coaching, and mentoring students ages 3–18 in one-on-one and group settings. From SAT prep and algebra support to summer camps and youth programming, I’ve seen how transformative education can be when it’s tailored, encouraging, and grounded in trust.Before transitioning full-time into teaching, I spent several years in business analysis, project coordination, and client-facing roles. That experience sharpened my communication, problem-solving, and systems thinking—skills I now bring into my classroom to help students connect math to real-world contexts and build habits of precision and resilience.Highlights of my journey include:• Developing individualized math tutoring programs for students with diverse needs and learning styles• Leading instructional design and classroom management as a gymnastics, martial arts, and cheerleading coach• Creating accessible, engaging learning materials for students from early learners to test-prep teens• Supporting equity-focused education through community volunteerism, including mentorship and the Special Olympics• Applying my background in data and process improvement to design lessons that are structured, impactful, and easy to followWhether in the classroom or the community, I believe teaching is about showing up—with clarity, care, and the belief that every student has potential worth unlocking.

I aim to make math both accessible and relevant, focusing on critical thinking, problem-solving, and confidence-building every step of the way.Drawing on 8+ years of experience in tutoring, youth programming, and instructional design, I bring an energetic, student-centered approach to the classroom.
