Director Locomotive Operations & Maintenance @Norfolk Southern

Director of all Locomotive groups for the Mechanical Department. This includes the following six groups. The Locomotive Operations group consists of our Systems Operation Center and Mechanical Operations Center. The Locomotive Technology group consists of all on board locomotive technology including PTC, Energy Management systems, Event Recorders, Distributive Power, and other equipment and systems. The Material Distribution group covers all material for the support of locomotive repairs at all locomotive shops and car material for all car repairs. The Locomotive Reliability group is responsible for monitoring and improving the health of Norfolk Southern\'s impressive motive power fleet. The Process Improvement group drives improvement using various Lean principles as well as driving continuous improvement through the Clean Sheet initiatives ongoing across the system. The Locomotive Maintenance group is responsible for the standards used in Routine Maintenance of our locomotive fleet as well as our Locomotive Maintenance Information System which is used to track and maintain all our locomotive maintenance records.
