This summer 2023, I worked as an underwriting intern for Chubb Insurance in Chicago, Illinois. I learned about the roles of insurance underwriting, risk engineering, marketing, and financial analysis within all division of Commercial Insurance at Chubb. Chubb is one of the biggest and most profitable insurance providers in the world. It was a privilage to be behind the scenes and see how a highly successful company operates. I worked with the Commercial Insurance team and was able to network with my fellow interns, and professionals in the field of insurance. I further improved skills such as sales techniques, desk management, leadership, financial projections, risk analysis, excel, and much more. I am very proud and thankful to have worked with such great people and to have learned so much this summer!
