About Ryan Rosenberg

I’m a Shorewood High school student with a strong interest in mechanical engineering, robotics, and building things from the ground up. I’ve worked hands-on in design and build roles on FRC Team 3070, where I developed experience with mechanical systems, autonomous robotics, and real-world engineering constraints.Through competitive robotics, athletics, independent projects, and founding and running a DJ business, I’ve strengthened my problem-solving, communication, leadership, and responsibility in professional settings. I’m especially drawn to design-build engineering environments such as Formula SAE and enjoy pushing myself physically and intellectually—whether on a robot build, a tennis court, or a multi-day mountaineering trip—as I prepare for college and future engineering work.

   I founded and operate Sound Wave Music, a professional DJ and event music business launched while I was in high school. I have been DJing since age 14 and began booking paid events at 15, completing over 10 bookings with a 5-star rating on GigSalad and earning top-performing DJ recognition in 2024. I have performed at events across Seattle including the University of Washington and multiple high school proms and homecomings. I additionally manage all aspects of the business from client outreach to live performance and sound setup.
