Ryan Punt is the Chief Executive Officer of SDN Communications, a regional fiber-optic leader delivering advanced connectivity and business solutions to pivotal organizations throughout the Midwest. Under his leadership, SDN focuses on building resilient fiber infrastructure, enhancing network security and supporting economic growth through reliable, high-capacity connectivity. Ryan became CEO of SDN Communications in December 2021 after previously serving as the company’s Vice President of Sales, where he led sales strategy and focused on customer relationships. Ryan serves on the national INDATEL Board of Managers, as well as the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce. As CEO, he oversees a team of roughly 110 employees and guides the organization’s long-term strategy around fiber expansion, network reliability, and customer-focused innovation. His background in sales and operations shapes a leadership style that emphasizes long-term partnerships with enterprises, healthcare systems, financial institutions, government agencies, and education networks that depend on SDN’s infrastructure.
