The Silicon Valley Aggressive Growth Fund is a highly selective, leading undergraduate investment fund at San Jose State University. It was created in 2017 with the funding and support of Dr. Nancie Fimbel and the Center for Banking and Financial Services (CBFS). They provided an initial investment of which our team has managed and grown over the years. The fund was created with the intention of providing students with real-world experience in investment management and equity research. As an extracurricular activity, it is meant to teach students how to apply the concepts they learn in their classes to scenarios actually encountered in the business world. Although the fund is hosted by the Lucas College of Business, it is open to students of all majors with a hunger to learn.
