I support a research team evaluating Seattle’s Fresh Bucks program. Seattle\'s Fresh Bucks program provides low-income households with financial assistance to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables. Through this role, I’ve strengthened my skills in data management, research collaboration, and program evaluation, while supporting a project focused on improving community health outcomes. My work involves- Contributing to evaluative research assessing how Seattle’s Fresh Bucks food assistance program improves affordability, access, and consumption of fruits and vegetables among low-income Seattle households- Processing and digitizing 1,600+ participant surveys, ensuring data accuracy and usability through entry into REDCap digital research platform- Attending biweekly team meetings to present progress updates, collaborate with faculty and research staff, and discuss next steps in data collection and analysis.
