ABOUT RYAN PERSAD

With more than 35 years experience in transportation logistics and global supply chains, Ryan Persad brings to employers and customers extensive industry knowledge. In his current role as National Manager, Global Supply Chain for Purolator Courier, Persad develops innovative solutions to address customers’ logistics and transportation issues. He is widely recognized for his ability to get things done and think outside the box to find solutions for customers such as Acklands Grainger, DELL Whirlpool (Maytag), Starbucks, Chrisco Hampers, Boston Scientific, Nike, Canadian Tire, Lacoste, West 49, Comark, La Senza, Travelway, Apple, Best Buy, Bargain Shop, Cannon, and Wells Fargo. Persad has held increasingly senior positions during the more than four years he’s been with Purolator, and he has been recognized for his outstanding contribution to the company with two quarterly merit awards as well as the 2006 Circle of Excellence Award and nominated for the 2007 Circle of Excellence Award. Prior to joining Purolator, Persad worked two years as a transportation and logistics consultant where he worked with clients including UPS, DHL, Lynden Logistics. Previously, he was employed by Lynden Air Freight and during his more than 10 years with the company was repeatedly promoted to increasingly complex and senior positions, including international postings, which gave him a deep understanding of the specific needs of different geographic regions.
