As a Contracts Specialist, I coordinate and administer contracts from proposal review and submission through award.My job responsibilities include:(1) reviewing contract agreement packages to ensure adherence to Weill Cornell Medicine branding and policies and to sponsor requirements;(2) handling complex and non-complex agreements;(3) preparing and negotiating contractual agreements with Prime sites and subsites on behalf of WCMC General Counsel; for new or revised sponsor awards on behalf of WCMC General Counsel;(5) coordinating with General Counsel and other departments to ensure appropriate language and timely execution of contracts;(6) reviewing terms and conditions of new contractual agreements and evaluate changes to pre-existing agreements;(7) reviewing and negotiating new clinical research agreements. As a Contracts Specialist, I collaborate with international agencies, principle investigators and their staff to ensure appropriate and timely responses, as required by the agreement. Further, I act as the liaison between sponsors and WCM for research processing operations including both pre-award and post-award.
