ABOUT RYAN NELSON
The product of 2 generations of small business owners in the rural Midwest, I am an aspiring young professional aiming to build stronger communities. With an end goal of increasing access to clean air and water for those who need it, my pursuits include reducing greenhouse gas emissions, plastic waste, and dependance on fossil-fuel generated energy, while exploring practices to improve carbon sequestration. These can be further accelerated by increasing access to education and opportunity, empowering small businesses, and creating space for collaboration. My experiences in construction, industrial recycling, supply chain, manufacturing, market research, marketing, and sales position me well to tackle these challenges.
