About Ryan Nacin
Welcome to my LinkedIn profile! With over two decades of dedicated service in the United States Army, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise in leadership, strategic planning, and information operations.I embarked on my journey as an officer of the Field Artillery in 2001, commissioned from the University of Central Florida. My formative years were spent at Schofield Barracks, HI, where I held various key positions within the 25th Infantry Division, culminating in commanding 157 Soldiers in combat as part of Headquarters, Headquarters Battery (HHB), 3rd Battalion, 7th Field Artillery Regiment. In 2009, I was selected for the prestigious Bradley Fellowship Program in Washington, D.C, where I earned a Master of Policy Management from Georgetown University. During this time, I worked extensively on both the Joint Staff and the Army Staff, specializing in government, development, and strategic engagements.Transitioning to the Information Operations career field, I served as the Chief of Information Operations for the 3rd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, NY. My journey then led me to roles such as Chief, Joint Operations Center, at the Special Operations Command - Central (SOCCENT), and later as a student at the Army\'s School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS).My SAMS utilization tour took me to US Army Europe, where I played a pivotal role in planning NATO operations and their integration into US plans. Subsequently, I served as the Brigade Operations Officer for the 1st Information Operations Command at Fort Belvoir, VA, before joining the United States Special Operations Command in Tampa, FL, as an IO Planner.Continuing my commitment to learning and growth, I am a proud graduate of the Eisenhower War College, part of the National Defense University.Currently, I serve as a Division Chief on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon, where I leverage my extensive background to contribute to the nation\'s defense and strategic initiatives.I am passionate about leading teams, solving complex challenges, and driving impactful change. Let\'s connect and explore opportunities to collaborate.
