ABOUT RYAN MAGEE

As a 13-year PQE finance lawyer with over 6 years in-house experience, I\'ve been instrumental in growing loan books. My career began at Allen & Overy LLP, providing a solid foundation in complex finance transactions across diverse debt structures. I was seconded to A&O Amsterdam and a major real estate investment fund, where I led transaction execution, oversaw asset management, and built robust precedent bases.At OakNorth, I focused on loan transaction execution/structuring, improving processes for quicker, smoother SME client transactions. I attended credit committee and was legal lead for the bank’s CBILS scheme admission, ensuring documentation compliance and guiding OakNorth through British Business Bank interviews and audits, resulting in over £500m of CBILS lending.
