I’m an emergency medicine Physician Assistant who genuinely enjoys the controlled chaos of emergency and urgent care—because behind every fast-paced moment is a patient who needs someone calm, present, and fully invested in their care.I’m known for staying steady when things get loud, busy, or unpredictable. Whether it’s managing multiple high-acuity patients, explaining complex decisions to families in plain language, or jumping in wherever the team needs support, my focus is always the same: provide safe, compassionate, efficient care while making patients feel seen and heard. I believe trust is built quickly in emergency medicine, and clear communication is often just as important as clinical skill.One moment that captures my approach is the patient who arrives frustrated, anxious, or overwhelmed; often more by uncertainty than symptoms. I take the time (even in a busy department) to sit down, ask what’s worrying them most, and explain what we’re seeing, what we’re ruling out, and why. By the end of the visit, the goal is simple: the patient understands what’s happening, what to watch for, and what their next step is. When a patient leaves saying, “That actually makes sense now,” I know we’re on the same page; and that’s a win for both safety and trust.I take pride in being a strong team player and an emerging leader who leads by example; showing up prepared, keeping a sense of humor when appropriate, and holding myself to high standards. I expect a lot from myself because patients deserve our best, even on the hardest days. Colleagues know they can rely on me to stay engaged, help shoulder the load, and contribute to a positive team culture, especially under pressure.I’m continuously working to grow as a clinician and as a person, because I believe the best PAs combine medical expertise with humility, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to people.At the end of the day, if a patient leaves informed, reassured, and confident about their next step, I’ve done my job right.
