   Storage & Unloading Systems – Led design of new stainless steel and HDPE/XLPE tank systems for methanesulfonic acid (MSA), hydrochloric acid (HCl), and specialty surfactants. Integrated nitrogen blanketing, desiccant venting, relief systems, and interlocks to meet API, ASME, and PSM standards.Cost & Safety Improvements – Targeting ~$680K/year in raw material savings by enabling MSA substitution for HCl. Optimized designs to lower installed cost estimates by $150K+, improving project payback from 3.5 years to ~2 years.Pump & Hydraulic Systems – Specified self-priming effluent pumps and developed deadhead evaluation tools for centrifugal and PD pumps, reducing downtime and equipment failure risk.Utility & Boiler Projects – Supported emergency replacement of a 500 BHP Clayton steam generator, including emissions compliance, permitting support, and tie-ins for rental boilers to ensure continuous operations.Hazard Review Leadership – Facilitated PHA/HAZOP inputs and early hazard reviews (HAZ1) for multi-million-dollar tank farm expansions, ensuring compliance with process safety standards and corporate EHS directives.
