About Ryan Lizerbram
As a PhD candidate in Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology by day and a hobbyist musician by night, I\'m deeply fascinated by flow — that immersive, optimal state where we\'re fully absorbed and energized by a task at hand. Experiencing this firsthand while analyzing data and creating music has inspired me to explore how workplaces can be designed to foster that same sense of deep engagement and fulfillment at work.My mission is simple: to help build happier and healthier workplaces. This passion has guided my research across a range of topics, including nurses\' experiences with patient-initiated violence, job crafting among occupational therapists, the work conditions that foster flow for music therapists, workplace risk factors for substance use disorders, and evaluating training programs that promote recovery-friendly leadership.Currently, I\'m preparing to defend my doctoral dissertation, which focuses on applying flow principles to workplace training to improve learning transfer and real-world impact.
