ABOUT RYAN LI
I\'m a junior at BASIS Fremont passionate about using AI to accelerate societal progress and promote social good. My research focus is on enhancing reasoning in language models of all sizes, working on both LLMs (ChatGPT, Google Gemini) and smaller models (phi-1.5/2b, LLaMA-7b). Outside of AI research, I love working on physics and engineering problems. Last summer, I researched Quantum emitters within 2D materials at the UCSB Quantum Photonics Lab. The experience has enhanced my love for Quantum Physics, and I would love to continue working relating to it in a university research lab. Through various youth initiatives, I am dedicated to serving the community and developing meaningful relationships with people. In my free time, I enjoy watching and play sports as well as spending time with friends and family.
