About Ryan Ledwith
I help clients across commercial and public sectors take mission-critical software projects from idea to impact. Over the past nine years of my career, I’ve contributed across the entire lifecycle of client technology initiatives—requirements gathering, user stories, functional testing, UAT, go-live support, adoption, enhancements & defects, and risk management—ensuring solutions don’t just launch, they succeed.I excel at uncovering business and technical requirements through deep research and strategic conversations—reviewing documentation, analyzing code, and leading guided discovery sessions to surface hidden needs. I then translate complex, cross-functional input into clear, actionable insights, leveraging Agile methods, low-code platforms, workflow automation, and modern architectures to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions. As a Consultant in Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice, I’ve supported technology modernization initiatives for federal civil government clients, often in team lead roles driving requirements, design, and delivery. Currently, I serve as Functional Lead for a ServiceNow solution (leveraging HRSD, ITSM, PPM & ITOM) being scaled across Deloitte’s GPS practice to help project teams streamline PMO and HR operations, automate on/offboarding activities, track assets & project deliverables, and maintain compliance with client & federal requirements.
Experience
Consultant, Gps Servicenow Functional Lead
Jul 2025 — Present · Arlington, VA, US
Functional Lead for a custom ServiceNow solution (leveraging HRSD, ITSM, PPM & ITOM) automating PMO, HR, and compliance processes across Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) projects. Leading requirements gathering, user story development, testing and defect tracking, and partnering with leadership to shape product strategy & roadmap. Project Highlights: Drove a 2× increase in development team sprint velocity within 3 months by improving requirements quality, story readiness, and testing workflows - with zero impact to on-time delivery rates. Delivered 3 new ServiceNow application modules from concept to production in under a month each—owning requirements, user stories, testing, UAT, and go-live readiness end-to-end. Led 7 live User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, authoring 500+ detailed test steps across 37+ workflows and facilitating sessions with testers new to ServiceNow. Established an end-to-end UAT process—from test script creation to defect tracking & remediation—that became the team standard for quality assurance of new releases, earning stakeholder, leadership, and client confidence in go-live readiness and delivery reliability. Created a comprehensive new hire onboarding guide after first two weeks in seat, which was adopted as the team’s official resource to enable rapid ramp-up for new members across both technical and process areas.
