About Ryan Leake
My goals in life all seem to revolve around a similar theme: diversity. From living in Yosemite working as a Backpacking Guide to building Quantitative Trading Models for funds, my passions lie in providing creative solutions to arithmetic puzzles. While my extensive experience with C++, Python, R studio and Econometrics largely contributes to my expertise (and slight obsession) with Portfolio Management, my experience in music, outdoor guidance and international cultures distinguishes me in the Portfolio Management business. Multiple systems and clients have been discovered on the trail, in the water, and in the studio. As I look forward for next steps in my career path, I see myself exceling in Capital Markets and Portfolio Management, especially in the field of Quantitative Trading. I crave an environment filled with comradery and competitiveness; I\'m embarrassingly extroverted and equally excited to hear about my colleagues ideas as I am to share my own. Heading into my Senior year of Portfolio Management, Outdoor Guidance and Music Composition at UCSB, I\'m convinced that innovation demands unfamiliarity. Looking for positions in Capital Markets and Portfolio Management for 2024, I\'m open to all sides of Asset Management and welcome that unfamiliarity with excitement and courage.
