Develop and maintain informational materials to identify, collect, organize, analyze, and synthesize data to be presented in plans and policies related to DCRs greenhouse gas emissions and main strategies to make reductions. • Develop technical policy and support agency efforts to ensure DCR is meeting its Net Zero goals and leading by example in greenhouse gas emissions reductions.• Coordinate and support the expansion of renewable energy projects, including policy development, navigating funding and incentives, supporting metering and monitoring program, etc. • In coordination with DCR Communications, support event planning, preparation, and logistics for decarbonization projects and programs, including, but not limited to, drafting of event requests, press releases, talking points, and social media posts. • Develop and deliver guidance and training to DCR staff to promote awareness regarding climate change mitigation, decarbonization, and net zero best practices and approaches. • Communicate and work with state, federal, and local agencies, non-profits, and local interests groups as sources of information and as participants in the planning for change mitigation, decarbonization, and sustainability initiatives and progress. • Research and support grant opportunities to further DCR’s climate goals.
