Currently, I serve as CFO at Aspyr Holdings, a PE-Backed Holding Company and prominent area developer and franchisee platform within Orangetheory® Fitness.Prior to being CFO at Aspyr, I kicked off career as a Senior Financial Analyst for Marriott Vacation Club International, then continued at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse reporting for 150 restaurants in 20 states with $800M in revenue. I also served as VP of Finance for Catalina Island Company, an organization with revenues of $70M and operations ranging from hotels, restaurants, beach clubs, camping, retail, tours and activities, and commercial/residential real estate.With a passion for finance transformation and profitability enhancement, my ability to empower teams is demonstrated by achieving multiple recognitions from the companies I’ve served, I have also worked to deliver the following career highlights. Received Marriott’s “Good to Great Award” in 2007 and increased revenues 5-10% on $400M in vacation ownership sales by collaborating with the revenue management team to develop a tool that would maximize room inventory efficiency. Awarded “Employee of the Year” in 2015 by the Catalina Island Company and “Meritorious Service Award” in 2013 by BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse for optimizing a workforce of over employees, designing “Ideal Labor Variance Models,” and adjusting wage rates. Championed turnaround efforts for Avalon Grille, a Catalina Island Company, and made it profitable in just 2 years:(The enterprise was losing $400K per year with substantial food and labor waste prior to tenure). Pivoted in 2020 to secure one of the largest single-entity Covid-19 loans in the country ($7.1M in 2 financing rounds).
