I’ve always been a high achiever and a hard worker. These qualities served me well in my oil and gas career, where I was climbing the ranks, growing in leadership, and performing at top levels. Even though I was successful on the outside, I was far from thriving on the inside. Then covid hit, my industry was heavily impacted, and I was laid off. I took 5 months off to re-think everything as I spent time with my family and let my soul come back to life in my happy place, the great outdoors.During that time, I came to understand what is most important to me: that I spend my time how I want. I realized I never owned my time in a career so demanding - my time owned me. I was meeting with my Financial Advisor Andrew to tell him about the layoff and had a quiet epiphany that this is what I wanted to do with my life. He worked hard; but for himself. And he did important work; not to climb any ladder, but for everyday heroes sitting across the table from him who were making an impact in their spheres. I felt the importance that his work had on me and my family, and I was inspired. And so it began, I made the leap from everything I knew professionally and started something new. Fast forward to today, I have the privilege of leading an awesome and growing team in Green River, WY with a big vision to serve my community for the decades to come. I believe that what I get to do goes far beyond financial planning and wealth management - I get to help people spend their resources how they wish: their time, talent, and treasures.
