ABOUT RYAN HODAY
I am a Senior Manager in the Toronto tax practice with over six years of experience working with PwC clients. I specialize in the taxation of public companies and privately held Canadian subsidiaries of multinational corporations, primarily in the renewable energy, technology and manufacturing sectors. In addition to ongoing tax compliance work, I have experience with tax provisions under IFRS and US GAAP, SOX testing, and surplus and foreign accrual property income calculations. I also have experience advising companies on various tax issues related to their operations, including business expansions and restructuring; I graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics and obtained a Masters in Accounting. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012 and have completed Parts I, II and of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Tax In-depth program.
