When I began supporting Vancity, the focus was on aligning two organizations through a complex IT infrastructure integration. The work required clarity, structure, and the ability to translate technical detail into decisions senior leaders could act on. I partnered across Technology, Operations, Risk, and Member Experience to map future‑state environments, sequence major changes, and surface the risks and dependencies that shape enterprise‑level planning.A large part of the role involved making the work understandable — building frameworks, progress reporting, and communication tools that helped leaders see where alignment was strong, where friction existed, and what needed attention next. The integration touched networks, telephony, contact centre platforms, M365, and branch technology, but the real work was ensuring the people and processes around those systems moved in the same direction.This experience gave me a close view of how Vancity makes decisions, manages complexity, and balances ambition with operational reality. It also reinforced the importance of disciplined prioritization, clear communication, and the ability to bring diverse teams together around shared priorities; the same principles that underpin effective enterprise strategy.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked across several large credit unions and now support Vancity through its IT infrastructure integration, aligning technology, operations, and governance across two organizations.My background includes enterprise planning, digital and lending modernization, payments strategy, and post‑merger integration. I’ve built transformation and analytics functions, partnered with CEOs and Boards, and led teams through change that touches every part of the organization.What ties my work together is a focus on alignment: making sure people understand the direction, the reasoning, and the path forward. I’m at my best when the challenge requires structure, insight, and the ability to turn complexity into something leaders can act on.Outside of work, I reset in the mountains — usually golfing, flyfishing, or exploring the places that keep me grounded.
